Cypress swamps are in the humid southeastern United States. At the North Carolina Zoo cougars, ducks, alligators, turtles, frogs and snakes share this habitat.

Cypress Swamp Gazebo Closed September 22- October 10
From September 22 - October 10, the Cypress Swamp Gazebo will be closed for roof replacement. Although the gazebo will be closed, the cougars and alligators will be on habitat.
