This is a life-size sculpture of the red-headed, long-tailed agama lizard, adapted to live on cliffs and kopje’s in the grasslands of Africa. The agama lizard feeds on termites, beetles, ants and other insects. Low on the food chain itself, it is eaten by birds such as the bateleur eagle and other small predators like the ball python seen on the other side of this rock. The Agama Lizard sculpture is made from bronze.
