It's time to Run Wild! Join your North Carolina Zoo and NC Zoo Society for the 2026 Run Wild 5K.
This annual event invites participants to embrace the scenic beauty of the Zoo while making a personal impact on wildlife conservation. Together, we can make strides-- literally and figuratively.
Registration fees will directly support regional conservation efforts for the North Carolina native salamanders.

All proceeds from donated devices go directly to the Gorilla SAFE program, which currently supports the work of Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Wildlife Conservation Society, and GRACE (Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education Center) in conservation projects protecting Grauer's and cross river gorillas. Be a conservation champion by supporting two great causes on the same day!
