
Seasonal Day Camps at the North Carolina Zoo provide the opportunity to dive into fun, nature-focused learning year-round! Camps will alternate age groups and provide a variety of themes.
Camps run rain or shine. Snacks are provided. Lunch is not included.

Fall Day Camps

*Camps will travel the Zoo together but separate for activities based on grade. Please be sure to indicate your camper’s current grade level during registration.
Making Waves: Full Day Camp (K-5th)
Saturday September 26th, 9am-4pm
$75 per camper, 10 campers max
Ready to cool off after a hot summer? Come along to investigate how water supports life around the world. We will describe habitats, explore phases of water, and examine how the Zoo impacts conservation. We invite all elementary students to dive in!
Chomping at the Bit: Full Day Camp (6th-10th)
Saturday October 3rd, 9am-4pm
$75 per camper, 10 campers max
From massive mouths to tiny tongues, appreciating the wild side of our world means we need to look within... digestive tracts. Join us as we discover an untamed world of strange adaptations, odd diets, and how the Zoo takes care of our own fascinating friends.
Creepy Crawly Celebration: Half Day Camp (K-5th)
Saturday October 31st, 8:30am-12:30pm
$40 per camper, 10 campers max
Join us for a half-day camp celebrating the unusual and spooky animals that call the Zoo home. Millipedes, bats, and tarantulas, oh my! Today we will practice expressing gratitude for our lesser-loved friends while learning about their important roles.
