Family Volunteer Opportunities

Families can volunteer together at the zoo! Youth ages 12–15 can participate with a parent or guardian, and adult pairs or supportive partnerships are also welcome, including husbands and wives, grandparents with grandchildren, or neurodivergent adults paired with a supportive family member. Volunteers work together as a team each time they visit, spending quality time together, learning about wildlife, and giving back to the community.

To ensure a consistent and safe volunteer experience, the same two people must volunteer together each shift.
