Horned puffins are an arctic seabird that breed in colonies mainly on islands and the coastlines of Alaska. The birds nest in a burrow in the ground, in natural crevices in a cliff, or among boulders. These birds only come on shore to breed and are found during the rest of the year out on the northern Pacific ocean.
