Daisy Girl Scouts

Amazing Animals

Let’s go on a journey to the North Carolina Zoo! Daisies will fulfill many parts of 5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals! by meeting some animal friends, engaging in fun activities and creating crafts!

Program length: 1.5 hrs

Chaperone to scout ratio: 1 chaperone to 5 scouts required

Program fee: $15/scout or $150 for groups of less than 10


 

Brownie Girl Scouts

Bugs!

Get your bug boxes out! Brownies will earn their Bugs badge through investigating the interesting world of insects by exploring different habitats for bugs and making some cool crafts.

Program length: 2.5 hrs

Chaperone to scout ratio:  1 chaperone to 5 scouts required

Program fee: $15/scout or $150 for groups of less than 10

 

Home Scientist

Put your lab coats on! Brownies will earn their Home Scientist badge by conducting hands-on scientific experiments!

Program length: 2 hrs

Junior Girl Scouts

Animal Habitats

Get ready to explore the Arctic! Junior scouts will earn their Animal Habitats badge by meeting some live animals, exploring the North Carolina Zoo’s Rocky Coast habitat and learning about its conservation.

Program length: 2.5 hrs

Chaperone to scout ratio:  1 chaperone to 10 scouts required

Program fee: $15/scout or $150 for groups of less than 10


 

Cadette Girl Scouts

Night Owl

Come to the North Carolina Zoo and become a nocturnal animal! Cadette scouts will earn their Night Owl badge while exploring the Zoo at night!

Program length: 3 hrs and will start ~1 hr before sunset

Chaperone to scout ratio:  1 chaperone to 10 scouts required

Program fee: $15/scout or $150 for groups of less than 10


Trees

Make like a tree, but please don’t leave! Cadette scouts will earn their Trees badge through hands-on activities, crafts and tree treats (please let educator know about nut allergies)!

Program length: 3 hrs
