Virtual Camps

Sign your children up for a WILD adventure! North Carolina Zoo is excited to offer our Online Holiday Break Camps as a way for kids to learn about Animals in Winter while staying socially distant and safe. Each camp in this series focuses on one way in which animals have adapted to survive the winter from migrating to hibernating to just being designed for winter. Zoo camp programs offer 1-day or an option for all 3-days for students in grades 1 - 6. Activities can include: visiting park habitats, meeting a zookeeper, creating a craft, and other fun activities.

Camps are three hours in length per day 9 am-12 pm for 1st through 3rd grade and 1 pm-4 pm for 4th through 6th grade.

Registration closes at noon the day before the camp, so reserve your spot(s) early. This is so our counselors have time to prepare.

Join us for a wild virtual adventure of the North Carolina Zoo!
