Zoo Camps

Sign your children up for a WILD adventure! North Carolina Zoo Camp is a way for kids to learn about animals and our natural environment in an outdoor setting. Zoo camp programs offer a one-day or week-long experiences for students entering grades 1 - 6. Zoo camp activities are based on that week's theme and can include: visiting park habitats, meeting a zookeeper, creating a take-home craft, conducting experiments and playing games.

The North Carolina Zoo also offers day camps specifically designed for rising 3 - 8 graders on the autism spectrum. These camps, called KidZu, are filled with social, educational and recreational activities in a structured and fun environment such as visiting park habitats, meeting a zookeeper, creating a take-home craft and making new friends. For more information about KidZu camps or to apply, please email.

All camps are from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., rain or shine. Join us for a wild summer!
