Zoo Host Volunteer

Applications accepted November - June

ZOO HOSTS are happy, courteous, pleasant and helpful Volunteers!  Our highly valued team of Zoo Host Volunteers are the front-line members of the Zoo. Volunteers meet and greet visitors and provide information on how to best visit the Park; locate habitats, use the transportation system, explain the Zoo's available services, obtain medical assistance, answer questions and provide customer feedback to Visitor Services. Never underestimate the power of being able to direct someone to the nearest restroom after many hours in a car, or at the end of a long, hot day! Serving as a Zoo Host is exciting, engaging, rewarding and minimal training is required. You too can be a Zoo Host Superstar!

Time Commitment:  March - November
Sunday – Saturday.
 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Interested in becoming a Zoo Volunteer? Fill out our online volunteer application and you will be contacted.
