Summer Library Program

Bring North Carolina Zoo Educators to your library this summer!  As always, the program is designed to excite and inspire children of all ages about the wonders of our natural world.

Each year we create a new program that aligns with the National Summer Reading Program's theme.  For example, for 2016's theme of On Your Mark, Get Set, Read, we designed a program called Animal Olympics.  We will engage participants through fun activities, awesome animal artifacts and a live animal or two!  Our programs last about 45 minutes and we then leave at least 15 minutes for questions and to allow participants to get a more hands-on experience with our biofacts.

The program fee for this presentation is $75.  There is an additional mileage fee of $.50 per mile after the first 50 miles, roundtrip.  Programs within 25 miles of the Zoo do not incur a mileage fee.  Mileage is determined using Google Maps.  Additional programs on the same day, at the same library, can be scheduled at $45 per additional program.

Please contact us by email, or call 336.879.7716 for additional information.
