Events
Each year, the Zoo Calendar is filled with a wide variety of Special Events that may feature games, face painting, live entertainment or special education information. Visitors are treated to these activities in addition to all of the artwork, animals, and landscaping found within the North Carolina Zoo!
April Events include the annual Earth Day Celebration. During May, we celebrate "Birds and Blooms", while June activities focus upon "Bee a Bear!" Late Summer features the one and only "ZooCOOL". October's "ZooFEST" culminates with "Boo at the Zoo".
