Yellow Helicopter at NC Zoo

Climb aboard the bright yellow helicopter at the Elephant Tracking Station and imagine flying over the vast grasslands of Africa searching for elephant herds! Backseat navigators map "imaginary" elephant locations and provide coordinates to the pilot and copilot. Listen to radio transmissions and learn about the N.C. Zoo's elephant tracking program in Cameroon. This is located in the Watani Grasslands Reserve in the Africa Region.
