Batology 101 Fact vs Fiction

Did you know that one bat may eat up to 1000 mosquitoes … in one hour. It’s true. Come to "Batology 101: Fact or Fiction" to learn more about these misunderstood mammals.
While at the Zoo during Batology, visit the Sonora Desert exhibit to learn more, where you will find educational displays, information about native bats and a children’s activity station with games and prizes.
Visit with zookeepers and educators at stations located in front of the Sonora Desert exhibit and discover more about the bats in the exhibit and find out why you should appreciate the bats in your own backyard.
Activities 10 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Each day, the event will end with a vampire bat feeding. And yes, it is real blood …
