Professional development workshops at the Zoo are designed to foster knowledge, appreciation and awareness of our natural world by empowering professionals who work among children and young people to incorporate innovative, exciting strategies into lessons and programs.
Playful Pedagogy, part of the N.C. Zoo's Education Department, offers professionals from a variety of fields to learn about play and think about how to bring outdoor play back to the lives of children. Learn more about Playful Pedagogy and upcoming training opportunities.
