Keepers in the Classroom Program/Grant Request

Grants are offered to off-set the costs of Keepers in the Classroom programs. Additional funding of up to $500.00 may be presented to classrooms who choose to perform an action project to benefit the environment.

To request a Keepers in the Classroom presentation/project, please fill out and submit this online application. Requests/grant applications must be received at least six weeks prior to the requested date of the Keepers in the Classroom program or start date of the environmental project.

Grant money is available!

The grant cycle begins July 1 and ends May 15.  All projects must be completed within this time frame and evaluations and documentation submitted to the Zoo by May 15.

To be considered for a GlaxoSmithKline grant, fill out all sections of this online application.
Note: Participation in an evaluative survey and documentation of the project through photos, samples of students’ work or other methods is required of grant recipients.
