High School Senior Project Application

Students who are interested in applying for a senior project are required to submit a completed application packet to include:

  1. NC Zoo Senior Project Application
  2. A letter of intent that describes:

The NC Zoo Education Division will receive all application packets and distribute to the appropriate Zoo Division for screening and student selection. Students may or may not be asked to the Zoo for an interview. Each student will be notified by e-mail of their acceptance or denial for a senior project mentor.

Fall semester students will be notified by September 10 and Spring semester students by February 10. The completed application packet must be submitted per established deadlines (Fall - August 30 and Spring - January 30)

Applications that are not received by established deadlines and/or incomplete application packets will not be considered.
