Summer Library Program
Bring N.C. Zoo Educators to your library this summer! As always, the program is designed to excite and inspire children of all ages about the wonders of our natural world.
This year we will be digging into what's happening beneath our feet through the program Under Foot. Many wonderful animals live underground and have to overcome a lot to do so! We will uncover some of these animals and identify any advantages there might be to living underground through biofacts, activities, and an animal ambassador or two!
We will also dig into fossils and explore how, once uncovered, they can tell scientists about the animals when they were alive.
The program fee for this presentation is $75. There is an additional mileage fee of $.50 per mile after the first 50 miles, roundtrip. Programs within 25 miles of the Zoo do not incur a mileage fee. Mileage is determined using MapQuest. Additional programs on the same day, at the library, can be scheduled at $45 per additional program.
