Pisgah Bridge Directions

From Asheboro

Take Hwy 220 bypass (new I-73/74) south for about six miles to New Hope Church Road. Turn right. After approximately 2 ½ miles turn right onto Burney Road. After ½ mile, cross State Hwy. 134 and continue until the road ends in Pisgah Covered Bridge road. Turn left. After about 400 yards Pisgah Covered Bridge Road goes to the right into the town of Pisgah. There is a sign “Pisgah” at the turn. The Bridge is about half a mile on the left and the Union Community Hall, where parking is available, is just before that.

From Hwy 220 South

Approach Asheboro and watch for the signs for “Seagrove”. After the Seagrove turn, the next exit is New Hope Church Road. Turn left. After approximately 2 ½ miles turn right onto Burney Road. After ½ mile, cross State Hwy. 134 and continue until the road ends in Pisgah Covered Bridge road. Turn left. After about 400 yards Pisgah Covered Bridge Road goes to the right into the town of Pisgah. There is a sign “Pisgah” at the turn. The Bridge is about half a mile on the left and the Union Community Hall, where parking is available, is just before that.

From Hwy 49 North

Approximately 13 miles South of Asheboro, watch for Bombay School Road on the right (NC 47 goes off to the left at this point). Follow Bombay School Road for ¾ mile and turn right onto New Hope Road and almost immediately, turn left onto High Pine Church Road. Follow High Pine Church Road for about six miles and turn right onto Pisgah Covered Bridge Road. Follow this road for about 4 miles and the Covered Bridge is on the right. The parking area at Union Community Hall is a little further on also on the right.
