Ecology of Kibale National Park

The North Carolina Zoo has supported the research of Dr. Jeremiah Lwanga in Kibale National Park, Uganda for over five years.
Dr. Lwanga works at the Ngogo research site at Kibale and conducts research on rainforest trees and plants used by chimpanzees and is involved with monitoring the Ngogo chimpanzee population. 
Support for Dr. Lwanga comes from the donation box at the NC Zoo chimpanzee exhibit.
