Martha Wright - Human Resources Officer

Martha has served as N.C. Zoo’s Human Resources Officer since October 1990. Responsibilities include recruitment, placement, benefits and salary administration, budget, policy formation and implementation.
Previous experience includes fourteen years in the banking industry as personnel officer in Laurinburg, Charlotte and Davidson, N.C.
Other work experience includes five years with a retail service bureau as a personnel administrator and three years as a recruiter/placement counselor for a personnel service.
Currently, Martha is a member of First Christian Church in Ramseur, N.C. She has also served in several capacities with the Scotland County Red Cross and Girl Scouts of America in Mecklenburg and Stanly counties.
Martha has attended UNCG, Saint Andrews Presbyterian College and UNC Pembroke.
