Zoo Council To Meet

The North Carolina Zoological Park Council will hold its regular bimonthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the zoo's W. David Stedman Education Center.
Council Chairman Scott Reed will preside. The Council is a 15-member board appointed by the Governor to oversee the operation and development of the state zoo.
Items on the agenda include a presentation on the zoo's horticulture and plant conservation programs. Each of the zoo's nine divisions will also submit reports on activities since the Council's last meeting.
