Zoo to Remain Closed March 4 For Snow

ASHEBORO—Snow and ice remaining on walkways and service roads from the recent winter storm continue to pose a hazard for visitors at the North Carolina Zoo.
As a result, the zoo will remain closed to the public through Wednesday, March 4, with employees reporting under Plan A. The park is expected to resume normal operations on Thursday.
For information on daily operational status, the public can call the zoo’s toll-free number at 1-800-488-0444 or visit the zoo Web site at www.nczoo.org.
