Zoo Keepers Hold Tennis Event

ASHEBORO - The North Carolina Zoo Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) has joined forces with the Asheboro Parks and Recreation Department to host a men’s tennis tournament June 20-21, at the Asheboro Tennis Courts located at 800 South Church Street.
The competition will be divided into two age divisions, ages 16 – 30 and ages 31 and older. The entry fee is $15 with all proceeds going to the local AAZK Chapter. A championship trophy along with runner-up, third-place and fourth-place awards will be presented in both divisions. Tennis balls and water will be provided to participants.
Entry fees will be accepted in cash or checks made payable to the North Carolina Zoo AAZK Chapter. Registration deadline is June 16. For more information, contact Terry Webb with the N.C. Zoo at 336-653-9917.
