Items on the agenda include a review of how the zoo is dealing with state budget cuts and a presentation on the park’s marketing strategy for the coming year in light of the difficult economy. In addition to the Marketing Division presentation, each of the zoo’s other eight divisions will submit reports on activities since the Council’s last meeting.
The zoo is an agency of the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Dee A. Freeman, Secretary; Beverly E. Perdue, Governor.
