Zoo Closed March 3 For Snow

ASHEBORO—Due to snow and ice remaining on walkways and service roads from Sunday’s winter storm, the North Carolina Zoo will be closed to the public again on Tuesday, March 3. The park was also closed Monday.
Zoo employees will operate under Plan A. For information on daily operational status, the public can call the zoo’s toll-free number at 1-800-488-0444 or visit the zoo Web site at www.nczoo.org.
The zoo is an agency of the N.C. Department of Environment & Natural Resources, Dee Freeman, Secretary; Beverly Eaves Perdue, Governor.
