NC ZOO CO-HOSTS GARDENING LECTURE

ASHEBORO, N.C.—The North Carolina Zoo and the Randolph County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension will co-sponsor a lecture by horticulturist Bryce Lane on "Gardening in Small Spaces: Big Ideas for Small Trees," on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Stedman Education Center at the zoo.

Lane appears on UNC-TV’s "In the Garden with Bryce Lane" and teaches in the Department of Horticultural Science at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

No reservation is necessary for the lecture, which is open to the public.

The zoo is an agency of the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, William G. Ross Jr., Secretary; Michael F. Easley, Governor.
