ZOO'S JUNE CELEBRATION CLOSES WITH TEDDY BEAR EVENT

ASHEBORO--The North Carolina Zoo will conclude the month-long celebration "Bee-A-Bear" on Saturday, June 28, with a "Teddy Bear Fair"
Kids are encouraged to bring their teddy bears to the zoo and enjoy "beary" fun activities. Youngsters can bring their teddy bears (or other favorite stuffed cuddly creatures) to a Teddy Bear Clinic in the North American Plaza for checkups by zoo veterinary technicians.
The June 28 events will also include activities with Radio Disney in the zoo’s North American Plaza, along with face painting, tattoos and popular comedic musician Rick Hubbard with his "Teddy Bear Kazoobie Show." June "Bee-A-Bear" events at the N.C. Zoo are being sponsored by Rockola Cafe' of Asheboro and the zoos seasonal events sponsor Pepsi®. All scheduled events are subject to change due to weather.
