Eggstravaganza - April 7
Celebrate the new spring season. See zoo animals hunt for treats inside decorative eggs.
Earth Day Celebration - April 21 & 22
Come to a "Party for the Planet". Dance to African drums and be in a giant puppet parade while discovering new ways to help take care of the earth.
Birds and Blooms - May 12
Enjoy educational fun at the Aviary and learn about the mission of International Migratory Bird Day.
Save Our Snakes - May 19 & 20
Learn about native snakes and their important role in nature.
The Bear Necessities - June 16
Explore life as a bear through storytelling, crafts, and Keeper talks. Bring your Teddy Bear to the Teddy Bear Clinic for a check-up with Zoo veterinarian staff.
Great Apes - September 22 & 23
Discover the amazing lives of gorillas and chimpanzees.
HOWL-O-Ween - October 13
Meet the red wolf Keepers and learn about red wolf conservation. Enjoy educational fun throughout the park.
Batology - October 20 & 21
Discover the good nature of bats and see a live vampire bat feeding.
BOO at the ZOO - October 27 & 28
A magical weekend of safe daytime Halloween fun. Enjoy trick or treat games, magic and storytelling, live entertainment and a children's costume contest.
