How much does it cost to come to Zoo camp?
Camp fees are stated under each camp program:
$35 for day camps, $60 for two-day camps and $90 for our overnight camp experience. A special discount is available for children attending 3 or more camps: $25 for day camps, $50 for two-day camps and $80 for overnight camps. To receive this discount please enter the code 3+camps in the "Promotion Code" box on the billing page (step 5) of the online reservation.
Is there a discounted rate for Zoo members?
A discount is available to members of the North Carolina Zoo Society and North Carolina Zoo employees. Discounted rates are $25 for day camps, $50 for two-day camps and $80 for overnight camps. Society members call 336.879.7262 to receive the Zoo Society promotion code for online reservations.
Do you provide lunch for campers?
Campers should pack a bag lunch (unless otherwise stated in camp description) that does not require refrigeration or heating; lunch is not provided. Small morning snacks will be provided for all campers.Where do I drop off/pick up my Zoo camper?
Children may be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 a.m. and must be picked up promptly after their camp day ends (2 p.m. unless otherwise stated in camp description).
Drop off and pick up will be at the Stedman Education Center in the North American parking lot at the zoo.
Do I need to bring anything with me to Zoo Camp?
Zoo camp operates rain or shine; please come prepared for changing weather. Campers should bring with them a backpack, sunscreen, hat, water bottle and bag lunch. Campers should not bring money, valuables or toys, unless specified by Zoo Camp staff.
